LeBron James is one of the best basketball players ever. He is 41 years old. In July, he said he will join the Philadelphia 76ers. His new contract is for two years. It is worth about $8million. This ends his eight years with the Los Angeles Lakers.
James almost stopped playing. He said he thought he had played his last game. But he still loves the sport. He did not join the team for money. He earned much more money last year. He joined because he wants to win again.
The 76ers have not won the title since 1983. Last season they lost to the New York Knicks. Now many people think the team can win. But one star player is often injured. If he wins here, he will be the first with four teams.
