Boxer Lee Reeves Stays in Hospital

Irish boxer Lee Reeves is in hospital in Dublin. His condition is critical but stable. He is 31 years old. On Saturday night he fought another Irish boxer, Gary Cully. Cully knocked him out in the tenth and last round. Medical staff helped Reeves in the ring. Then people carried him out on a stretcher.

The two men fought for a boxing title. Cully won the fight and the title. He said that Reeves was not the favourite to win. But he said that Reeves fought very well.

On Sunday evening the boxing company gave news about Reeves. It said he was still very ill in hospital. It also said people will know more in a few days. The promoter Frank Warren said he was thinking of Reeves and his family. Cully said the same thing. No one has said yet what will happen to him.
