The Irish boxer Lee Reeves is in a critical but stable condition in hospital. He was carried out of the ring on a stretcher in Dublin on Saturday night. Reeves, who is 31 and comes from Limerick, was fighting another Irishman, Gary Cully, for the vacant Boxing Union of Ireland (BUI) Celtic super-lightweight title at the 3Arena. He was stopped in the tenth and final round.
