Mark Zuckerberg is the boss of Meta. On Monday he wrote a long essay. AI means artificial intelligence. He wrote about very strong AI that can think better than people. He says everyone in the world should be able to use it.
Zuckerberg does not want only a few companies or governments to control this technology. He says that would be bad for everyone else. So Meta will give people free or cheap AI helpers. These helpers will keep users' information private.
Meta builds very big computer centres for its AI. These centres use a lot of water and electricity. Many people who live near them are not happy. Zuckerberg promised $1billion to help these towns. He also promised to keep electricity prices low.
