Scientists Move Coral to Land

A big fire burned a forest near Paris. It started on Sunday afternoon. People had to leave about 900 homes. No one was hurt. No houses burned down. About 400 firefighters worked at the fire. Planes flew over it.

Europe has a very bad heat wave. In France, about 1,000 people died. Many old people died in one week. Few people in Europe use air conditioning. Only about 20% of homes have it. Energy costs a lot in Europe.

A new study looks at small birds called swifts. Swifts come to Britain every summer. The study shows the birds are very loyal. Most swifts go back to the same nest each year. But swifts are in danger in Britain.
