UK Bans Kids' Social Media
Britain has big news. Keir Starmer is Britain's leader. He spoke on Monday. Britain will ban social media for young children. Children under 16 can not use it. This means apps like TikTok and Instagram. The new rule starts in 2027.
Starmer says social media makes children sad. Many people in Britain agree. More than 90% want the ban. Australia did this first. Now Britain follows.
Companies must follow the rule. If not, they pay big money. But some say this is hard. Children may hide their real age. Britain will share more plans soon.
