Uber Eats will send food by drone. A company called Zipline will fly the drones. This starts later this year. It will begin in Dallas and Houston.
The drone can carry eight pounds. It flies for ten miles. It does not land on the ground. It stays high in the sky. A small box comes down on a rope. The box leaves the food on the ground.
Zipline has made millions of deliveries before. It works with shops and restaurants. Many people ask about the noise. Others ask about the price. The companies have not said the price.
