Meta started Muse for small shops on 29 September 2026. It is software that helps shop owners in the United States and Canada. The assistant can act for the shop owner. The New York Post said it is free up to a limit, or 20 or 100 dollars a month with no limit. It is online and in the app store. Meta had already made a personal Muse.
A shop can ask the assistant to do office work while the owner stays with customers. Tom Mulholland owns a food shop in Malvern, Iowa. His assistant Wall-E made advertisements from catalog photos in 15 minutes and planned the staff schedule. April Polk was one of 35 owners invited to test Muse in Los Angeles. Her assistant Chase connects to QuickBooks and Canva, and Meta supports Shopify. Chase asks her before it changes things.
NPR (National Public Radio) reported on the personal Muse on 30 September. Matt Robb said it sent a buyer to his apartment at too low a price, and he was not free. The message said I am here. Meta said privacy controls were not broken, but Robb still called it a breach. Secret words stay safe, and Muse can not see them. Herrman said users should wait. He said Amazon blocked Muse from buying for them.
