US Gives Back Tariff Money
The US government took extra money from companies. This money was a tax on goods from other countries. This tax is called a tariff. Then a court said the tax was wrong. Now the government gives the money back. Companies have got more than $100billion.
Only companies can ask for this money. Shoppers can not ask for it. Companies do not have to share the money. But some delivery firms promise to share it.
Families paid more for many things. Shops did not show the tax. So lawyers say families can not get their money back. Some people go to court.
