A big flood hit Nepal on Wednesday. At least 356 people died. About 1,400 people are missing. Many of them were visitors.
Ice fell from a mountain. The ice and rock hit a river. They made a fast river of mud. The mud rushed down the valley.
Far down the valley, a big river rose eight metres. People saw a wall of water. The army saved more than 100 people. Many families lost their homes. Scientists say the mountains are getting warmer.
