Democrats Win US Congress
The Democrats won control of the US Congress on Tuesday. They won both the Senate and the House of Representatives. The results are not final yet. This is bad news for President Donald Trump. Abdul El-Sayed became the first Muslim in the Senate. Democrats also won in Texas. Texas usually votes for Republicans.
Many voters were unhappy about high prices. In one poll, 87 per cent were worried about fuel prices. And 62 per cent blamed Trump. Trump said the war with Iran was part of the problem. In Florida, Republican Byron Donalds became the state's first Black governor.
Trump said the Democrats did "a good job". He said he will accept the results. He also said he will stop laws he thinks are very bad. Now the Democrats can stop many of Trump's plans.
