Workers in Belgium found gold worth about €9 million. It was hidden inside a wall under an old beer factory. They found it in a town near Brussels. One worker was Kobe, an 18-year-old student. He thought the shiny coins were €1 coins. Then he saw real gold. The workers called the police. Police took the gold to a safe place.
The building is very old. Now a charity owns it. The charity wants to make offices and homes there.
In Belgium, the real owner has five years to ask for the gold. If nobody asks, the finder and the building owner share it. Many people came to look for gold. Police told them to stay away. Kobe can not keep the gold, but he hopes for a reward.
