Apple Shows First Folding iPhone Duo
Apple has made its first folding phone. It is called the iPhone Duo. The phone shuts like a passport. When you open it, the screen is much bigger. It is about 80% bigger than the screen on the iPhone 18 Pro. The price starts at $1,999.
John Ternus is Apple's new leader. He started the job on 1 September. This was his first big show as boss. Apple worked on folding screens for years. Ternus says other folding phones feel like two phones stuck together.
The iPhone makes more than half of Apple's money. But folding phones are still rare. They are only about 2% of all phone sales. Experts do not agree if the Duo will sell well. Apple also showed new watches and AirPods.
