US Stops Microsoft Green Cards
The US government stopped Microsoft from a green card program. A green card lets workers stay in the US. Microsoft can not ask for new green cards now.
Vice President JD Vance says Microsoft did something wrong. He says Microsoft let about 6,000 American workers go. He says it also asked for many foreign workers.
Microsoft does not agree. It says most of these workers already worked there. It says they get the same money as Americans. The government says it wants to help American workers.
