Miami F1 Race Starts Earlier
Sunday's Miami Grand Prix will start three hours early. It will start at 13:00, not 16:00. The reason is bad weather. Big storms are coming in the afternoon. Florida law says races must stop if lightning is near.
F1 (Formula 1) leaders changed the time for two reasons. They want fans and drivers to be safe. They also want the race to happen. Miami is a very big race for F1. More than 200,000 fans will come to watch. Two other races this year were already cancelled.
The race may still be wet. Most drivers have never raced the new cars in rain. The new cars are hard to drive when it rains. Lando Norris said it will be a big challenge. Oscar Piastri said it is a voyage into the unknown.
