Study Finds Ear Needles Fail
Scientists in Brazil tested small needles for bad headaches. They put the needles in the ear. Sixty-eight women joined the study. Half got the real treatment. Half got a fake one. Both groups felt less pain. So the needles did not work better.
A migraine is a very bad headache. The pain is often on one side. People can feel sick. Light and noise hurt them. Women get more migraines than men.
Migraines stop people from working. New medicines can help a lot. But they cost a lot of money. Scientists want to study the needles more.
