The US government is taking Amazon to court. It says Amazon made companies pay too much. They paid for adverts on the Amazon website. The case started on Monday.
Companies pay Amazon to show their adverts. They offer money for the best places. The government says Amazon added secret offers. This made the prices go up.
The government says shoppers paid more too. Amazon says this is not true. The government wants Amazon to pay the money back. A court will now decide.
