UK Cinemas Move to Restrict Meta Smart Glasses

Cinema operators across the United Kingdom are moving to stop customers wearing camera-equipped smart glasses during screenings, citing fears that the devices could be used to record films illegally. The UK Cinema Association (UKCA), the sector's trade body, said in a statement first reported by Sky News that many of its members are introducing policies to prohibit or restrict camera-enabled eyewear in their venues.
