Study: Child E-Scooter Injuries Rise 20-Fold in England

Doctors at three children's hospitals in England have seen a twenty-fold rise in e-scooter injuries. Between January 2019 and December 2024, 477 children came to emergency units after crashes on electric scooters. The yearly number grew from five cases in 2019, when only two of the hospitals kept such records, to 149 in 2024.
