Reports: Man City Broke Money Rules
Reports say Manchester City broke the Premier League's money rules. Manchester City is a famous English football club. The reports say experts found the club guilty of most of 115 charges. The decision is not official yet. There is no punishment yet.
The story started in 2018. A German magazine shared secret emails. The emails suggested the owners hid their own money. They made it look like money from other companies. So the club only seemed to follow the rules. City say they did nothing wrong.
City could pay a fine or lose points. They could even have to leave the Premier League. A former Stoke City manager said he felt cheated. His team lost a cup final to City in 2011. City will probably fight the decision. Nobody knows when the case will end.
