Thirteen people were killed on Saturday when a small tourist aircraft crashed in southern Peru minutes after taking off for a sightseeing flight over the Nazca Lines. The aircraft, a Cessna Grand Caravan operated by the Peruvian carrier Aerodiana, lost contact with the control tower and came down at about 1.20pm local time in Pueblo Viejo, about six kilometres from the city of Nazca, police said.
