The 130th Boston Marathon on Monday produced record-breaking performances alongside a remarkable act of sportsmanship that resonated far beyond the finish line. Near the end of the 42-kilometre course on Boylston Street, runner Ajay Haridasse collapsed four times due to severe cramps and was preparing to crawl to the finish. Aaron Beggs, a club runner from Northern Ireland, stopped to help but lacked the strength to support Haridasse on his own.
