NASA Study: Titan Could Fuel Deep-Space Missions

A NASA-supported study has proposed that Titan, Saturn's largest moon, could serve as a refuelling waypoint for spacecraft venturing into the outer solar system. Led by Conor Nixon, an astronomer at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, the research compiled an inventory of Titan's resources and concluded that the moon's abundant hydrocarbons make it an exceptionally promising stopover.
