NASA Study: Titan Could Fuel Future Space Missions

A new study supported by NASA (the US space agency) suggests that Titan, Saturn's largest moon, could serve as a refuelling stop for spacecraft travelling into the outer solar system. The research was led by Conor Nixon, an astronomer at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. His team listed Titan's resources and concluded that its rich supply of hydrocarbons makes it a promising place to refuel.
