McGregor to Return Against Holloway After Five Years

Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor will return to UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) after nearly five years away, facing Hawaii's Max Holloway at UFC 329 in Las Vegas on 11 July, UFC president Dana White confirmed. The bout at the T-Mobile Arena will take place at welterweight and headline a card that also features Liverpool's Paddy Pimblett against France's Benoit Saint-Denis. McGregor, 37, has not fought since suffering a broken leg in his July 2021 trilogy loss to Dustin Poirier.
