Studies Link Insomnia to Cancer Risk in Under-50s

Two large American studies have linked chronic poor sleep to a much higher risk of cancer in adults under 50. The findings were presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), a major cancer meeting in Chicago. Researchers at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Jefferson Health analysed health records from over 18 million Americans aged 18 to 50, including more than 413,000 people diagnosed with insomnia.
