A big fire kills 32 people at a music bar in Bangkok. More than 70 people are hurt. The fire starts early on Monday morning. It is the worst fire in the city for years. Many people die from the smoke.
The police say the bar was not safe. They think an electrical problem started the fire. People could not get out easily. Some doors were blocked or locked. The owner did not want people to leave without paying.
Bangkok has had other bad fires before. Safety rules do not cover bars like this one. The city leader now promises to check other places. The owners say sorry. They offer families about 300 US dollars. But families say this is not enough.
