A therapist helped him. He wrote the names of animals and rivers. Slowly, his voice came back. Four months later, he went to a football game. He was very afraid. But the fans stood up and clapped for him.
Now Ferguson is 84 years old. He says he feels quite good. He still watches his old team. He has a new book about his life.
