Japanese City Closes 94 Schools After Bear Sighting

The city of Utsunomiya in eastern Japan has closed all 94 of its primary and secondary schools after a bear was seen inside the city for the first time on record. The black bear, about one metre long, was first spotted near a park on Saturday. CCTV (closed-circuit television) cameras then filmed it running past two startled young men in the city centre early Sunday.
