Chris Johnson, the former National Football League (NFL) running back once celebrated for his blistering speed, has announced that he is living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), the incurable neurological condition also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Johnson, now 40, revealed the diagnosis in an interview on the American television programme "Good Morning America" with the retired player Michael Strahan, which aired on Monday.
