15-Year Study: Swifts Return to the Same Nests

A 15-year study by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) has shown for the first time how loyal migratory swifts are to their nests. Researchers tracked 190 swifts across 243 nests in Drewsteignton, a village in Devon, south-west England, identifying each bird by a numbered ring on its leg.
